Until his death, Charles Coffie Gyamfi, 70, remained one of the oldest practising journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
An unassuming personality, Charles, through his writings helped many people who were in dare needs of assistance.
A one time employee of the state Ministry of Information, Charles remained active on the job until an ailment deprived him of active service about four years ago.
